I'm considering holding one at our place on either the 5th or 6th February.
It entirely dependant on two things:
1) People coming (not really worth it for <6)
2) Tables. (need some)
Proceed.

Hi
There is a Trinity Debate being set up on this Blog ...
http://www.reclaimingthemind.org/blog/2 ... challenge/
On the right, POLLS - one of the potential candidates to debate is brother David Burke (the candidates also include two Unitarians, Mormon, Seventh Day Adventist and of course a Christadelphian).
The poll is open (no need to subscribe), if any would care to give the nod for David to participate in this debate, then a vote for the Christadelphian candidate would be appreciated.
David is a very skilled debater on the subject of Trinity.
yours, in Christ
Kay

Hey all,
I and Nichola will be going to the zoo to see the pandas and other critters at some point the first week of January.
That time period is pretty flexible for me and so I am wondering if anyone else would like to go and see the pandas with us, and if so what date would be good? We have to pre book to see them - a list of available timeslots is here.
At this stage I'm thinking of Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd or Monday 4th as being reasonable options. Probably get a timeslot around the middle of the day for the pandas, and spend the morning or afternoon looking at the other zoo exhibits. Could go out and do dinner afterwards if people are keen for that.

Ticket price is $20.
As per usual protocol I will be doing the ticket run and seating reservation the Tuesday before the LAN (Tue 6th).
Tickets have been bought for the following people, so get your own if you're not on the list.
Me
Alex
Sloth
Tanuki
Smithers
Stud Muffin Man
Currently it looks like FIFA 10 will be the comp one.
Looking forward to having a bash at Guitar Hero 5 too.
Other than that it's the usual UT, Q3A, Flatout etc mayhem. This year with some Section 8 madness thrown in! Would be good to have enough of us to have a humans-on-humans game, even if we fill the gaps with AI's, since they're pretty competent.
If we have a quiet patch I think it'd be cool to have a game of Soldat for old times sake.

Some of you may have heard that the Last LAN to be held at The House was Tom's Late Birthday LAN. However, we've decided that I'm going to do the same trick, and have another Late Birthday LAN, except this one will be for me, not ol' Bob. It's for this coming Friday, now that my friend is finally well and able to come after a 3-week illness.
So far I have a few people coming, but I'd like to know for sure who is or is not coming (and when), so's I can plan the tables/food and games.
On that note, the currently possible games include:
Half-Life 2: Synergy (Co-op mod)
Battlefield 2
Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance
Age of Mythology
Age of Empires III
Demigod
Unreal Tournament (Original and III)
Flatout 2
Most of these rely on people wanting to play them, and the ability of said games to be installed/copied and/or run on the machines of said people. Any ideas, confirmation or awesome comments would be appreciated.
PS:excuse the language, we have to write like this in school
